The journey began through a village located at the foot of Mount Luhur, where there is an elementary school where we took a short break before starting the ascent. After resting, we continued our journey by climbing to the peak of Rimba. Upon reaching the summit, we descended a bit to an area slightly away from the peak to set up camp.

We pitched our tents about 100 meters from the peak of Rimba to avoid strong winds and potential lightning strikes in case of rain or storms.

That night, we cooked and enjoyed the dark atmosphere of the forest, accompanied by the sounds of crickets and the unique sounds of the forest ecosystem that are rarely encountered in urban areas.

The next day, we immediately practiced the material that had been taught earlier, specifically implementing rappelling techniques and creating transport equipment.

We brought quite a lot of gear, including two long climbing ropes, several webbing straps, prusik ropes, field helmets, etc. The material taught included rappelling using the Figure of Eight and Bobbin methods. Additionally, we learned to climb after practicing rappelling.

After completing the rappelling and climbing exercises, we moved on to the next material, which involved creating transport equipment for specific terrain conditions. The session concluded with Land Navigation training, where we had to identify our location.

After practicing Land Navigation, we hurried down to the village at the foot of the mountain and then headed home.
