In 2023, the Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) Jabodetabek organized the Google Solution Challenge Workshop to help participants prepare for the Google Solution Challenge. This event was held online on February 18, 2023, via Zoom, and offline on February 25, 2023, at the Auditorium of Universitas Trilogi Jakarta.

On the first day, the event featured two speakers discussing topics related to the Google Solution Challenge. Fiki Alamsyah, former GDSC Lead of STT Nurul Fikri (2021-2022), presented on “How to Be Part of Google Solution Challenge 2023.” Meanwhile, Surahtomo Aziz Pradana, Engineering Manager at Bukalapak, spoke about “How to Win the Google Solution Challenge 2023.”

The second day focused more on presenting material related to the Google Solution Challenge and how to create and design products. Participants were given the opportunity to design solutions based on case studies or problems provided. After developing their products, participants presented their design solutions for the given problems or case studies. This day featured four expert speakers: Danang Juffry, Community Manager of GDSC Indonesia & Brunei; Safrian Jayadi, Product Design Lead at Semaai (Agritech); Lalu Triawanri Novianung, Product Designer at Dicoding Indonesia; and Jefri Yushendri, Co-Founder & CTO of Getcrew.asia & Google Facilitator.

The event was managed and organized by GDSC Jabodetabek and supported by several sponsors, including Google Developers, Larutan Cap Kaki Tiga, Jurnal Informatika dan Sains, and Cap Panda. Additionally, the event received support from Dicoding Indonesia and Universitas Trilogi.

It is hoped that this event will help participants better prepare for the Google Solution Challenge and increase their chances of winning. The Google Solution Challenge is an annual competition organized by Google, open to students and developers worldwide. Participants are expected to create innovative solutions for real-world problems using existing technology. This competition also provides participants the opportunity to interact with experts in the technology field and gain valuable experience for their future careers.
