Inauguration of Aranyacala Members

The inauguration of Aranyacala Didas 38 students took place on August 17, 2022, at Cikakak Beach in Pelabuhan Ratu. Thirteen students were inaugurated as members of Aranyacala. In addition to becoming members, these thirteen students were also inaugurated as mountaineers with conditional graduation, requiring them to complete two field activities and a presentation to fully graduate as mountaineers.

The first event was a symbolic ceremony to officially induct and graduate the thirteen students as members and mountaineers. This was followed by the donning of tourniquets, represented by Yuricho Berthan Sagawa and Zahwa. Next, the new members were splashed with flower water, and the tourniquets were put on other members, along with congratulations for all the new members.

The event concluded with a group photo of all members and instructors, holding the Aranyacala flag and the banner for the Aranyacala Didas 38 inauguration.

The event ended with a communal meal and packing up to prepare for the return trip to Jakarta by bus.
