Sarangan Lake Magetan
Sarangan Lake, also known as Pasir Lake, is a natural lake located at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level on the slopes of Mount Lawu, in the Plaosan District, Magetan Regency, East Java. Covering an area of 30 hectares and reaching a depth of 28 meters, the average air temperature ranges between 15 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius.

Situated 16 km from the center of Magetan city, Sarangan Lake is a family tourist destination that is a must-visit for those living in or around Magetan, as well as in East Java. There are various recreational activities, such as speedboats, pedal boats, and more. Surrounded by mountains, the atmosphere around the lake is serene and beautiful, and sometimes the lake is shrouded in mist during the daytime, originating from the valley (blown by valley winds).
