Sometimes, this reservoir is often confused with Widas Saradan Reservoir. However, in reality, this reservoir is different from Widas Saradan Reservoir. Widas Saradan Reservoir is located further east than Saradan Reservoir, and they differ in terms of size and depth. Widas Saradan Reservoir is larger and deeper than Saradan Reservoir. Despite being occasionally misunderstood, the beauty of Saradan Reservoir is not inferior to that of Widas Saradan Reservoir.
Due to its lesser popularity compared to Widas Saradan Reservoir, Saradan Reservoir is not as crowded with visitors and is mainly used by the local community to obtain water for their agricultural fields. Moreover, its somewhat hidden location causes the reservoir to be visited mainly by the local residents for fishing and to take a brief break from their daily activities.
