USAKTIF FOR SOCIETY
The Computer Engineering Student Association of Universitas Trisakti held the USAKTIF FOR SOCIETY event in Bogor Regency from March 11-13, 2023. The event was attended by participants who were students of the 2022 Computer Engineering cohort, along with the Management Board of the Computer Engineering Association and faculty members from Universitas Trisakti as supervisors, totaling around 250 people.
The event took place over 3 days and 2 nights, featuring various engaging activities. On the first day, participants gathered on campus to prepare before departing for Villa Batu Kembar Pancawati using three truck units. Upon arrival, rooms were assigned to participants, and the event was officially opened by the MCs, Sukma Julia Nada and Abdullah Hudzafah.
Welcoming speeches were given by the Event Chair, Michael David Jackson; the Vice Chair of the Computer Engineering Association, Azhar Rizki Zulma, S.Kom; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Ir. Amal Witonohadi, M.T.; and the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Syandra Sari, M.Kom.

The first day continued with outbound activities followed by breaks for prayer and dinner. In the evening, the activities resumed with a bonfire and a talent show presented by the participants before they rested for the night.
The second day began with early morning prayers, followed by preparations for the morning activities and breakfast. After breakfast, participants engaged in a community clean-up in the village and distributed basic necessities to local residents. This activity was done by walking to the village, where they were welcomed by the village head before the clean-up and distribution took place. Afterward, participants returned to the villa to rest, pray, eat, and brainstorm for the community service material planned for the third day. In the afternoon, participants played games against the organizing committee, and the night ended with a barbecue.
The third day began with worship and morning exercise before bathing and breakfast. Participants then traveled to the school by foot to conduct community service at MI TARBIYATUL ATHFAL. They taught basic computer operations to 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students. After completing their activities, participants returned to the villa to prepare for the journey home. They traveled back using three truck units to the campus, where they were dismissed to return to their respective homes.
The USAKTIF FOR SOCIETY event was a very positive and beneficial activity for participants. Besides strengthening the bonds of friendship among students, it also helped develop social skills and attitudes while broadening awareness related to community service. This event exemplifies the Computer Engineering Student Association’s commitment to supporting the surrounding community.
