Task Usage
Task Usage is a feature in Microsoft Project that allows you to schedule working hours for each task. It is adjusted based on the working hours for each day. Task Usage will be connected with Actual Work and Progress Bar, where the hour calculations in Task Usage will be calculated based on Actual Work to determine the details of how many hours the task in the project is completed.
Task Usage is typically used to obtain detailed data on the project’s tasks, so that the data can be adjusted and taken into account for project funding allocation (such as Salary/Wages) based on working hours for each activity per day.
Furthermore, Task Usage also serves to determine the progress of the project on a daily basis, such as “how many hours in a day to complete a task in the project.” This information can be used as a reference and prediction data for future projects, helping to anticipate the workload for upcoming projects.
